SEAS Biotech operates an integrated grain biorefinery in Goalpara, Assam — producing fuel-grade ethanol alongside a full portfolio of co-products that maximise the value of every kilogram of feedstock processed.

Established in 2021 under the Government of India's Ethanol Blending Programme and Assam's Ethanol Production Policy, the plant is designed for high availability, consistent quality, and sustainable operations from day one.

Our biomass-fired boiler eliminates coal from operations entirely — a decision made at the design stage, not retrofitted — resulting in materially lower lifecycle emissions per litre of ethanol produced.
